PROJECT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Create an audio and visual production which incorporates elements and concepts learned this semester.

What this project ultimately looks and sounds like is up to you.
IDEAS (make sure project is approved BEFORE you start any production)
- Original Short Film/Commercial/Promotional Video
- Music Video - Remember you must create the music
- Documentary/Mockumentary (school appropriate, of course)
- Create original soundtrack to an old commercial/video
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:
- Project must be approved by Mr. Shearer before you begin any production
- Appropriate length considering time spent on project and depth of production.
- Videos must be formatted in AVI or WMV
- Original audio
- You may use Mixcraft's audio samples/loops as long as they are one measure or shorter
- Combine audio samples, use virtual instruments, and record your own audio to create all music and SFX
- Original recorded material
- Use a microphone to record material that becomes a significant contribution to your project
- This could include voice-overs, vocal tracks, sound effects, etc...
- A continuous soundtrack
- Music should continue as underscore during voice-overs
- Track automation, FX, EQ
- Video and Music that compliment each other
TIMELINE
- Project proposal submitted by end of class Tuesday, 1/14
- This should be as detailed as possible in a Google Doc (share with [email protected])
- Summary of what your project is and will look like.
- Is there a script? Summarize what it will be about
- Where are you getting or how are you producing the visual component?
- What will your audio include?
- What will your original recorded audio be? How will it be recorded?
- What will your virtual instruments be?
- This should be as detailed as possible in a Google Doc (share with [email protected])
- Mid-project progress submitted by end of class Monday, 1/20 - On flash drive
- Final project due by end of class Thursday, 1/24 - On flash drive
